My Life Line
Let me introduce you to the love of my life. There is something about the way the pages curl into soft yet sharp angles the more people love them…. like women I suppose. thanks
now that you’ve read others, time to live your own … vicarious living is nothing like the tangibles; sight, touch, taste, scent … living your truth can make for the best fiction, and soon another person’s “life line” will include you.
BTW Good Omens is one of my fav books. I could just read it forever.
I need to make a copy of your book list and add a lot of them to my “to read” list. The overlapping areas show me that really? We probably like similar characteristics in books.
great list… I’d add poems by Gwen MacEwen, Elizabeth Bishop, ‘Blue Estuaries’ by Louise Bogan, poems by Irving Layton, poems by C.P.Cavafy, ‘America’ and ‘Howl’ by Allen Ginsberg, some poems by Anne Sexton.. anything by Henry Miller
The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker…etcetc
